Alameda County is beginning its strategic planning process for the next 3-5 years. In doing so, we are seeking input from public and private organizations, community groups and residents, and others. We also are sharing our broad perspective on health inequities.
This executive summary is a prelude to the full report set for release July 2008. This summary gives an overview of inequities in health outcomes, education, housing, transportation, criminal justice, and access to health care, healthy foods and physical activity. It provides policy recommendations in each area.
