I Wanna Know (iwannaknow.org) is a site of the American Sexual Health Association (ASHA), which offers information on sexual health for teens and young adults. I Wanna Know provides the facts, the support, and the resources to answer your questions, as well as referrals and access to in-depth information about sexual health, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), healthy relationships, and more.

California Department of Public Health (CDPH), STD Control and Prevention Branch

The CDPH STD Control and Prevention Branch strives to reduce the transmission and impact of sexually transmitted diseases and viral hepatitis in California. The branch supports STD prevention efforts through providing statewide leadership, guidance, surveillance, training, technical assistance, and safety net support for delivering services throughout the state.

California Healthy Youth Act (Comprehensive Sexual Health & HIV/AIDS Instruction)

The purpose of the California Healthy Youth Act is to provide every student with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect their sexual and reproductive health from unintended pregnancy, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

As the nation's health protection agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides health information, national data, treatment and screening guidelines, and resources about STD prevention and control.
