Safe Kids Worldwide is a global network of organizations whose mission is to prevent unintentional childhood injury, the leading cause of death and disability for children 14 year and under.
- Alameda SafeKids Coalition
Alameda Safe Kids Coalition increases awareness of childhood injury prevention by participating in local health and safety fairs, car seat check-up events, bicycle and helmet education, pedestrian safety, poison prevention, drowning prevention and more. Safe Kids Alameda County collaborates with other safety minded individuals and organizations through membership on the Childhood Injury Prevention Network (CIPN)—Bay Area. CIPN membership consists of health and safety experts, educators, physicians, governments, firepersonnel and police.
