Neighborhood-Wide Surveys 2004 and 2007
The ACPHD CAPE Unit implemented a 2007 follow-up to its 2004 baseline surveys in Sobrante Park (SP) and West Oakland to determine the effects of its pilot projects on residents and neighborhoods. In Sobrante Park, 216 residents were surveyed. In the Hoover Historic District of West Oakland (WO), 233 residents were surveyed.
What did the survey ask?
The surveys were designed to see what people in the communities think about their communities, if they connect with neighbors, if they can access city and county services, and what the main concerns are.
