Physical therapy may be able to help children learn some of these skills:

  • Rolling
  • Sitting
  • Crawling
  • Walking

Occupational Therapy (OT)

Occupational therapy may be able to help children learn some of these skills:

  • Chewing and eating
  • Playing with toys
  • Dressing him/herself
  • Other self-care activities

Equipment

Both physical therapists and occupational therapists will assist in ordering equipment that the child may need, such as braces, walkers, wheelchairs, and special bathroom equipment.
